In addition to the amazing aesthetic characteristics of the leather, we use a very low-maintenance leather which is treated with extra layers of natural oils and conditioners during the manufacturing process. As proof to how this provides longevity, some of our early customers (2000 - 2002) returned to add more items to their collections, sending us pictures of those items and saying, even with heavy usage, their items are still in great condition and are really happy with the purchase they made a long time ago!

I was astonished by how supple and butter-soft the lambskin on the inner side of this collar is! It's a beautiful piece overall, and every detail is well attended. The leather has a satisfyingly heavy feel but not stiff at all, the hardware seems sturdy, and the padding is just the right amount under that heavenly soft lambskin. I really can't say enough about how soft and luxurious the lining is. This collar changed our entire opinion on the cuffs we had purchased from a different brand, revealing a whole new level of quality we hadn't experienced.
